Narnia Business (and more C.S. Lewis)

This year I'll be reading C.S. Lewis' Narnia Chronicles at the rate of one per month, taking a total of 7 months. I'm quite excited about this, because it'll be my first re-read for quite some time. This famous series of kids' classics is renowned for its theological insights and meaningful applications, so let's hope they rain down thick and fast.

Although Lewis didn't write the books in chronological order, he intended that we should read them that way, beginning with The Magician's Nephew and ending with The Last Battle.

The title of this read-athon is the same play on words you've no doubt seen in jokes.

'What are you doing in that wardrobe?'

'Narnia Business!'

Finally, because I enjoyed using the F.R.I.E.N.D.S sitcom format for my Anne-Athon, I'll be using it again. Please join me if you can, or at least follow my progress if you feel so inclined.

1) The Magician's Nephew - The One with the Apple

2) The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - The One with the Turkish Delight

3) The Horse and his Boy - The One with the Long Journey

4) Prince Caspian - The One with the hard-done-by Prince

5) The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - The One with the Lost Noblemen

6) The Silver Chair - The One with the Lost Prince

7) The Last Battle - The One with the Dressed-up Donkey

Bonus: My Definitive Ranking of the Narnia Chronicles

But wait, there's more Lewis!
