And the Scarecrow is surely up there among some of the best smart guys in literature 😄Paula Vincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02079952414990463270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8533677737021490096.post-47354616714034216712018-12-19T20:27:46.670+11:002018-12-19T20:27:46.670+11:00The book is really different from the movie, isn&#...The book is really different from the movie, isn't it? I read the entire series years ago but managed to skip it because I'd seen it -- big mistake! My favorite is Ozma of Oz, so many great female characters. And I love that quote -- Scarecrow knows what he's talking about!Karen K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13483190930383406559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8533677737021490096.post-90692293789381893602018-08-11T09:18:18.819+10:002018-08-11T09:18:18.819+10:00Whoa, truly? So he evidently knew he had a sweet and innocent persona to fall back on, but it was all just a ruse. I've read no further than the first book either, but may have to re-think who the smartest character is 😊Paula Vincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02079952414990463270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8533677737021490096.post-60807602983491730972018-08-11T01:20:21.341+10:002018-08-11T01:20:21.341+10:00Perfect review!! I never read past the first story, but apparently Toto goes on to become one of the most bad-ass animal characters of all time (turns out, he could talk, the whole time, but just chose not to because... ?? He didn't wanna?? hahaha)Sheree @ Keeping Up With The Penguinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09387035714160789080noreply@blogger.com
