Does sound interesting.Paula Vincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02079952414990463270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8533677737021490096.post-56030194384767451182017-04-26T10:53:57.706+10:002017-04-26T10:53:57.706+10:00Have you read "The Girl Who Circumnavigated F...Have you read "The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland"? They have a line in that about how children can go on adventures because they are heartless. Interesting series. :)jugglingpayneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10921293051956441475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8533677737021490096.post-31029937232742834932017-04-22T10:41:42.978+10:002017-04-22T10:41:42.978+10:00Yeah, he was a bit like Dory from the Finding Nemo...Yeah, he was a bit like Dory from the Finding Nemo movies in some ways. I read an interesting article once, that said JM Barrie had a bit of childhood psychology and knew how they tick well enough to present Peter. He showed not much empathy either, another trait some kids exhibit (definitely not all though).

I'm with you. Something about never aging creeps me out, and we really do outgrow them. I prefer characters like Anne Shirley, whose series shows her at different stages of life.Paula Vincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02079952414990463270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8533677737021490096.post-5139249515274501142017-04-22T09:31:04.416+10:002017-04-22T09:31:04.416+10:00One thing that always intrigued me when I read Pet...One thing that always intrigued me when I read Peter Pan was how he would automatically forget things once they were gone. I'm amazed he remembered Wendy as long as he did, probably because she could tell him stories of himself. His eternal youth was tied to an eternal bad memory that helped him maintain his "innocence."

It's funny, even with comics I was always more attracted to the characters that aged. Even as a kid, I wanted to see them grow up, just as I was, because I saw them as my literary friends. :)jugglingpayneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10921293051956441475noreply@blogger.com
